8 World Championships
Dr. Ben Lerner served as team chiropractor and wellness advisor at eight World Championships for USA Wrestling, beginning in 1995 as the first official chiropractor for the USA Wrestling World Team.
I was honored to serve USA Wrestling as a team chiropractor and wellness advisor at eight World Championships. That journey began in 1995, when I became the first official chiropractor for the USA Wrestling World Team and had the opportunity to support athletes at the highest level of international competition outside the Olympics.
At World Championship events, I provided hands-on care, injury management, and wellness guidance to elite wrestlers representing the United States. These competitions bring together the best wrestlers from around the world, and it was a privilege to help our athletes prepare, recover, and perform on that stage.
Working with USA Wrestling across multiple years allowed me to build lasting relationships throughout the program, including with athletes such as Kendall Cross, Kurt Angle, and Tom Brands. Those experiences reinforced my belief that exceptional performance is built on intentional health, disciplined preparation, and a great team.
