Below is a very effective letter I hand and send out to my patients each year. The most vital process I take all of my clients through is culture change. Establishing a culture of accountability, giving, referring, and engaging in the mission is vital in most any business. In this letter, we discuss what giving is – putting others first and several very practical steps to patient participation
The Giving Holiday
Life is a gift from God – what we do with that life is our gift to Him.
This time of year is about giving – or ultimately, putting others needs before ours. Thus, it’s a good time to challenge ourselves and our patients. Are we only focused on our own health; or have we made the health of others more important.
ASK YOURSELF:
- Do you know someone who’s constantly getting sick and building disease?
- When you go to work, do you hear your co-workers complain how sick and miserable they are?
- At a restaurant, have you overhead conversations at the next table like people discussing how sick their children are?
- The Bible says, “In God’s presence is fullness of joy. Yet, when you go to Church on Sundays do you see the depressed and suffering people?
- At the family Christmas, do you hear your sister, brother, and in-laws talk incessantly about all the medications they’re on and giving to their children?
DO YOU SEND THESE PEOPLE (AND DRAG IN IF NECESSARY) TO THE CHIROPRACTOR?
It’s true, others outside of chiropractic live in the medical model, taking dangerous medications, building disease, and waiting until it’s too late to take care of themselves.
I believe it’s good in this season to decide first and foremost that we can’t sit by anymore and let anyone live a life of sickness, suffering, depression, and disease, knowing we can help!
That’s why starting January 1st we will be speaking at more groups, businesses and organizations, doing more phone consultations and having more events so we can get to each and every person we can, so they can live the best possible life God created for them!
