When you are destine to achieve a goal, sometimes uncontrollable circumstances happen that get in your way and you feel like you have been knocked down or set back. Your purpose and strength in an uncertain world can play tricks your your mind.  It can feel so tough to get through setbacks and this can make you feel like giving up. Daily Mediation Just for 10 Minutes – Mediation is a way to stay connected to your loving self and strengthen your self-empowerment.  It will encourage you to see the end result of your goal and help you focus on the deeper reason of why you want to achieve it. You will begin to observe the circumstances as just a bump in the road and with a clear head from meditating, you will be able to find ways to get past it.

It is important to focus on the positive things in your life, recognize your achievements and how far you have come already.  People often focus on what they do not have, their challenges, and think they will never reach the goal. This can make people think negative thoughts and think they are not good enough. Be positive and use positive words.

12 Minutes of Movement Every Day – Movement is a tough one to get in daily when you are feeling stuck, behind, or too busy. Setting your alarm just a few minutes earlier to fit in a workout can make an enormous difference. No need to get fancy and go to gym either. You can workout at home, go for a run, pick up a new sport, or do some yoga in your living-room. If you need some encouragement and need someone to follow, there are a ton of workouts online that just use body weight.  Try working out to your favorite music; that can always give you a good boost!  Just get in 12 minutes every day for a week and I promise you will see how much it will improve your mind, energy and inspiration for moving forward to getting things done. If you get in more than 12 minutes that is great too!

How You Feel After the Achievement – This tip is KEY. Focus on how you will feel after you achieved the outcome. Focus on how you want to feel. People often just focus on the goal itself and the steps to get there. The goal is a milestone, and once you hit the milestone – what happens? Are you done? People are programmed to keep wanting more, and the feeling of fulfillment is not there. If the fulfillment feeling is there, it is often short lived. The take away here is to focus on how you want to feel – what are the sensory feelings that will make you feel accomplished?
